Synergies between COP17 and The DCCI’s Marketing Matters Conference

Coming at a time when the world’s attention is focused on COP 17, a number of issues relevant to this summit will be addressed by Professor Mervyn King (Author of the King Report), Professor John Simpson (Unilever Institute of Strategic Marketing), Steven Cohen (CEO of Softline Pastel), Andisa Ntsubane (Microsoft) and a few other proudly South-African thought leaders, when they come together on 6 December to discuss various strategic business and marketing imperatives. This conference is hosted by the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) as a service to their members and the business community as a whole, and will be facilitated by Mr Jeremy Maggs – a prominent figure in the Strategic Marketing sphere.

A number of strategic topics that impact marketers and other business strategists like the King III Report, Consumer Protection Act, and the Evolution of Technology and its Impact on Marketing will be addressed, and will be sure to make a meaningful impression on the minds and business practices of the attendees, adding value to the strategies their businesses will investigate for a productive, profitable 2012.
